9 I sing my soul in a wild call Leaping from peak to snowy peak, Rebounding with the thundering water fall; Laughing with God in His winter smile Dressing His forest in Light and Glory, And so, I sing my soul a while.
I sing my soul in the ancient moon, Caught in the spinning web of stars Composing a delicate crystal tune, So God laughs with me behind His smile In the joy of creating Light and Glory, And so, I sing my soul a while.
I sing my soul in a faery village Nestling in the cozy forest below my feet; Fascinated by faery entourage Laughing in the sparkle of God's smile. It lays like white lace over black velvet, And so, I sing my soul a while.
I sing my soul in the morning sun Caressing awake the forest and granite, Rejoicing in the gentle day freshly begun; Warming with God in His dawn-time smile, Sharing life with Bluejay, guardian of His domain; And so, I sing my soul a while.
